We visited Powerscourt Estate which is about 30 minutes south of Dublin in the Wicklow mountains. This is Dublin's tallest waterfall. We spent the afternoon walking around the waterfall and the kids had a great time at a playground nearby. The drive into the mountains to get there was beautiful with all the landscape you would imagine in Ireland.

We went to Powerscourt Falls back in May and there was a TON of water coming down. I think we have a picture on our blog back in the June '08 archive. It was also dumping rain at the time so we didn't even get out of the car but we drove right up to it and watched for a while. They let us in for free because it was raining so hard. Ireland is so beautiful. You are so lucky to have this time there! So fun!
